  1. The psychological effect which will have you craving the emotional release you get when you’re smoking a cigarette. There’s a form of ‘me-time’ we attach to smoking, where we can get left alone and give ourselves the time to reset.
  2. Now the routine of preparing yourself to smoke is another form of addiction most ex smokers are still attached to. It’s all those other chemicals that leave you with a hole unfilled. But as harmful as it is, its completely normal for our body still craves them subconsciously. We just need to be consistently aware and make the conscious decision to resist these cravings till our body full adjusts with out them.


So how do we go about overcoming these problems moving forward?

Together we can make it simple. All you have to do is flip the script. Everything you do subconsciously with the routine and the habit around cigarettes you can still do but with the mind to vape. The perks of vaping like smoking indoors can create new habits differentiating the feeling of smoking to the feeling of vaping but the idea behind quitting is to trick your brain by associating it to smoking as close as possible. An example would be to plan to step out and vape instead of vaping wherever your comfortable. Another thing that could help is getting a tobacco flavoured e-liquid just so your brain still thinks its the same as smoking a cigarette. Additionally, there’s nothing wrong with vaping socially. If people around you are smoking, just vape and maybe offer them the opportunity to slowly stop smoking and go for a healthier alternative.
